WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC

The European WEEE Directive is targeted at the prevention of WEEE and the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of such wastes, and in such, does not restrict the use of any specific chemicals and is targeted at producers and distributors of WEEE (ANNEX IA). ANNEX II refers to the removal of certain substances and components from the collection stream, rather than their restriction from use. Therefore being that the component wire and/or cable is not specifically referred to in ANNEX IA, cannot be specifically referred to in ANNEX IB and is not found in the ANNEX II listing, Marmon Aerospace & Defense ® cannot make any claims with regard to compliance with this directive including PMC Thermocouple Wire brand.

Although the products are beyond the scope of the WEEE directive, Marmon Aerospace & Defense ® remains committed to maintaining our policy of avoiding the use of substances listed in the REACH, RoHS and WEEE directives.
